"Hi everyone! I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher with my Masters of Fine Arts in Dance. I have extensive knowledge of the body, injury prevention, and rehabilitation through somatic practices. Whether you are suffering from back pain, recovering from an injury, working through alignment issues, posture weakness, or looking to get stronger, leaner, and more aligned in your body and mind connection, I can help you. MY PILATES STORY
Pilates saved my career and my body
I was a dancer my entire life; training in ballet and modern/contemporary through college and then became a teacher. Months after I was accepted into one of the top dance programs in the US for graduate school, on a full scholarship, I was in a car accident that resulted in two bulging lumbar discs. This completely debilitated my lumbar extension and my gluteal muscles could not and would not fire. As a dancer... This was devastating. I tried daily physical therapy and athletic trainers, massage therapy, chiropractic care... and nothing was working. So, I decided to devote myself to Pilates and it was the best decision I ever made. I feel stronger than ever before, and now love helping others out of pain and into a new sense of self awareness, alignment, healing, and confidence! If you have a goal in mind STOP WAITING...
